So here's my second verse on our quest to memorize 12 verses of scripture this year!
... Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:32-33 (NLT)
I love reading the verses the Lord has put on your heart. I've been writing scriptures down in a little spiral bound notecard holder. That's how we memorized them last year. It works out well, since it can go with you anywhere and fits great in your purse. I've also been writing down other scriptures in my notebook in a different section than the ones I'm memorizing so I can also read them when I need them.
Scripture tells us we can wield the sword of the scripture at our enemy so what better way than to go armed every where we go!
So how are you memorizing your scriptures? Can't wait to hear from you all!

Scripture Verse #2:
ReplyDeleteTeach me to do Your will, for you are my God. May Your gracious Spririt lead me on level ground...Psalm 143:10
What a great verse Angie!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to add this one to my notebook!
Scripture verse #2:
ReplyDelete"The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid." Psalm 27:1 (NKJV)
I couldn't choose just one! They are both short, so I thought I would go ahead and post both verses. :)
ReplyDelete“Anyone who is having troubles should pray”. James 5:13
“His love has taken over our lives; God’s faithful ways are eternal.” Psalm 117:2
Sorry I'm so slow....
ReplyDelete" Like a shepard, God has led me all my life." Genesis 48:15.
Now, I must strive to follow this every day.
I like the one you posted Alli - I need to memorize it also.
